45 snook were caught this Monday during a chartered fishing trip in the South Tampa Bay with long time client Dave Vandyke and his two sons. We fished the Cockroach Bay area and the back creeks in the same area. At our last fishing spot of the day, Dave's son hooked a large snook about 15 lbs, but the hook pulled before we could take a picture and release it. Dave's son is no stranger to catching big snook. In March he caught one that was 22 lbs. With a warm weather forecast ahead, the fishing for trout will be good on the deep grass flats with redfish in the shallow flats of Tampa Bay and snook in the back creeks. Trout season is open south of Fred Howard Park. Tight lines, - Capt. Tony Frankland View my Snook Fishing Trip package For availability inquires use the Request Info Form
