fishing tampa bay fl,

fishing report for tampa bay fl, with captain tony frankland right now the fish are eating well. with trout, sheephead, redfish, and black drum and large jacks, being caught on live shrimp and jigs the best areas to fish right now is the rivers and back bays of tampa bay. there alot of fish way up the river at this time the key is to fish warm pockets of water were the water is warmer free lined shrimp will do the trick. here is also some snook being caught up the little manatee river at this time tight lines and good luck on the water.

with the latest cold front that has come thru it has moved the bait around alot! scaled sardines have been missing from there usual spots. the fishing remains good for mackerel and bluefish mixed in with some bonita most of these fish have been caught near the skyway bridge in tampa bay. trout remain a good option on the deep grass flats. also in the rivers and in backcountry we have been catching snook and redfish it is also a good spot to stay out of the wind magrove snapper have still been around in large numbers lets go fishing.

tampa bay fl, fishing report

fishing report for tampa bay fl, with captain tony frankland last week the snook bite was fair with the cold front that pushed through. the best bite has been mid morning for snook! also the mackerel and bluefish remain a great angling option! with the weather warming up this week look for the fishing to get better as the water temp will move higher best fishing will be on the moving tides mangrove snapper still remain very hungry right now.
